The rooms at Casa Rural Maialde are fantastic! They are bright and spacious, with lovely wooden floors and lots of natural light. Plus, they have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries. As a light sleeper, I really appreciated the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Personally, I found the heating in the rooms to be a bit too warm. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might enjoy it.

We stayed for five nights at Maialde and loved it more each day. The warm room was perfect for the winter weather, and the home-cooked dinner in the evening was a welcome treat. The staff were honest and helpful, even keeping my lost Kindle safe until I could retrieve it. The rooms offered great views of the car park and the location was quiet, despite being close to the church. The hotel is family-run, offering an authentic and charming experience. The bar downstairs is a local hangout, and meals in the restaurant were both delicious and reasonably priced. Elorrio, a nearby town, had a beautiful church and historic old town, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay in this cozy hotel nestled in the Basque countryside. The staff were friendly and helpful, even accommodating my late arrival with a delicious dinner. The rooms were quiet, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. The location was perfect for exploring the area by foot or bike, and the meals in the restaurant were both delicious and reasonably priced.
The naming of the streets in the area can be a bit confusing, making it slightly difficult to find the hotel.

I keep coming back here because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, off-site car park, dryer, flat-screen TV. The staff even helped me with my heavy baggage. It's perfect for me, with hiking and cycling nearby. The restaurant offers a great children's menu. No pets and no smoking on site. Coming back this weekend!
